Monthly Giving

A regular gift is a convenient way for many supporters to donate.

By choosing to give a regular monthly donation, you will be helping us to plan ahead and make long-term enhancements for our staff, patients and their families. A regular gift allows us to plan for the future because we know, day in day out, that we can rely on your support.

£5 a month could help fund some play therapy resources for a sick child

£10 a month could purchase resources such as Worry Monster soft toys to support bereaved children receiving dramatherapy or imaginative play to help children work through feelings and events that might be too big to describe with words.

£20 a month could buy two tambourines to support our music therapy service for children

£50 a month could fund our Thirst Responder refreshment trolley for a fortnight to hydrate our hard working staff across Croydon Health Services NHS Trust.

To set up your monthly gift, simply complete this form or contact ch-tr.charityfunds@nhs.net

One-off donations

Making a single donation can have a really positive impact on our work.

Whether it’s an extra chair for a waiting room so that patients can feel more comfortable, musical instruments for our children’s music therapy service or a birthing pool to provide a relaxing environment for new mums, a single donation can make all the difference to patients and staff.

If you are a UK tax payer, please remember to Gift Aid your donation by returning our Gift Aid form. Your signed declaration means we can claim back 25p for every £1 that you donate. Find out more about Gift Aid here

Events

Whether you’re taking part in an organised event or hosting your own, working towards a specific date can be rewarding and motivating as a goal.

As our charity grows we will add more events to the calendar but here are some dates for your diary.

NHS Big Tea

This fundraiser takes place on the 5 July every year to mark the birthday of the NHS. In 2026 the NHS will turn 78 so help us celebrate and host a tea party at work, home or your local community. Add a raffle, auction, book sale alongside some yummy cakes to spice up your event. There is no registration fee so get ready to get your bake on.

Croydon NHS Christmas Jumper Day

The event takes place in December each year and is a great way to get into the festive spirit. Just don a jumper and text FESTIVECROYDON to 70085 (£5 donation plus cost of one message)

Challenge events

We’d love you to challenge yourself so if you have your own place for an event, get in touch and we’ll provide personalised fundraising support as well as fundraising materials including sports vests and collection tins. Team Croydon fundraisers with their own places can raise as little or as much as they like as there’s no sponsorship target.

London has some of the most iconic events in the world, including the infamous London Marathon, London to Brighton cycle ride, Swim Serpentine and London Landmarks Half Marathon.

Please get in touch if you would like to take part in any of these of other events to fundraise for the Croydon Health Charity, to make a difference to our patients and staff in Croydon. l.ajdukwicz@nhs.net
